A new poll reports that only 4% of Israelis believe Obama is pro-Israel, while over half think he is pro-Palestinian. For comparison, 88% view George Bush as pro-Israel. This is hugely important. Israel is one of our most loyal allies, and a stronghold in a region rife with people who wish to destroy us and our way of life.
Obama vowed to be a transformative president, and there's no question that he's changing things in a big way, both inside and outside the US. Unfortunately, just about every change has been in exactly the wrong direction.
